| NOTES | It’s not uncommon for solar pool heating to spread like wildfire in neighborhoods. Once one neighbor installs a solar pool heater, many others often follow suit. Recently several owners in a community in Fort Myers, FL decided to get together and invite us to design and pitch solar pool heating systems for their homes. As in many master planned communities in Southwest Florida, there are only a few different house models in the community, but each house is oriented differently on its lot and the combination of home and pool design differs for each residence. We prepared 3D computer models of each residence, geolocated and oriented properly to determine the optimum solar panel size and placement for heating each unique pool. Because every scenario is different, including the plumbing and equipment to which we are connecting, everyone will get a custom solution and price. It’s hard to provide a ballpark cost for solar pool heating systems before seeing the home due to all of the variables, but we can usually get pretty close with just a little investigative work. Finding several neighbors all ready to heat their pool simultaneously is great for us and them! |
