| NOTES | Florida Solar Design Group has recently been getting a lot of inquiries about solar electric systems in the Fort MyersShores to Alva area along the Caloosahatchee River. This area is served by Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC), whose electricity rates are higher than FPL’s, especially at top tiers for heavy energy users. This area is a prime location for solar energy with larger roofs and sizable yards where tree shade can be mostly avoided. We find that clients in this area are looking for a long-term investment in a home where they expect to live for a long time, or that may likely remain owned by multiple generations of family. |
