This is just a quick reminder that the FPL Solar Rebate Pilot Program expires on September 30, 2015 and all applications must be in by that date. If you live in FPL’s service area and have any interest whatsoever in heating water for your home with a solar panel, there will never again be a better time to make it happen. The combination of a $1,000 cash rebate and the 30% Federal Tax Credit pay for over one half of a typical system!

Note that the Federal Tax Credit is currently set to expire at the end of 2016, so if you can’t do it now,  there will still be a healthy incentive,  but the rebate sweetens the deal dramatically.
