We built a quick and basic simulator to give you an estimate of how much energy will be produced be solar panels in both kilowatt-hours and in dollars and cents of utilty energy that it offsets.
This simulator uses PVWATTS estimates from the National Renewable Energy Labs, so it is accurate in terms of weather data. To keep things simple, we just used Fort Myers as the location and gave you simple sliders to adjust the parameters.
