iSwim exclusive expansion joints allow expansion and contraction, reducing panel stresses.

iSwim Solar Pool Heating Panels feature industry-exclusive Flexible Expansion Joints at six inch intervals on each panel. These “zip joints” allow lateral and shear movement as panel expand, contract, and bend over roof surfaces. The result is a more reliable panel with drastically reduced occurrence of panel body leaks over the life of the system.

Traditional full-body panels have slits or no expansion joints at all, causing stresses along and across the panel body that leads to premature failure and leaks. The iSwim flexible expansion joints virtually eliminate these issues as temperature variations throughout each day and season make panels expand and contract, a normal occurrence.

By manufacturing panels in 6 inch wide sections, then assembling the sections into a full panel, iSwim’s manufacturer has found a way to cut down on warranty claims that plague other brands.
